The Director and CEO of the Stoker Dracula International Organisation is Dennis McIntyre.

                                                                
Born in Cloonacol in County Sligo in the west of Ireland Dennis McIntyre was a teacher at Belgrove Boys School in Clontarf for 25 years and also taught English to students from all over the world for 20 years. He has a long and distinguished record of community involvement in the Clontarf area and has served at different times as Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and PRO of various clubs and societies in the area – being especially noted for his organisational skills.

As a writer/journalist he has contributed articles to various publications and is best noted for his 300 page book on the history of Clontarf titled “The Meadow of the Bull.”

                                   Mr McIntyre has a myriad of sporting interests and is a keen environmentalists.

                                   As Director and CEO of the Stoker Dracula Organisation Mr McIntyre has                                                            written and lectured widely on Bram Stoker's “Dracula” and the Gothic in                                                              General – he is regarded as an international authority in this field. He has                                                                organised most successful annual Bram Stoker Summer Schools since 1991. He                                                      has also promoted the whole “Dracula Scene” - and continues to do so – by taking                                                  part in television and radio documentaries and chat shows at national and                                                                international level.

Dennis McIntyre is determined that Bram Stoker will never again be the forgotten man of Irish literature.
